Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center is a world renowned organization
dedicated to the progressive control and cure of cancer through programs of
patient care, research, and education.
The Pathology Core Lab is a centralized, comprehensive facility for research
involving human tissue. Based in the Department of Pathology at MSKCC, the
resource provides professional expertise in pathology, appropriate samples and
tissue-based experimentation
In this position you will assist researchers by collecting and insuring that
specific tumor tissue is available per investigators`s request, distribute
requested samples used in IRB approved cancer research studies, while making
sure the samples are obtained and maintained under appropriate conditions. You
will also abstract appropriate clinical information for all research samples
collected. Assume duties of other TPS staff as needed.
o BS or Associate degree in Science.
o Must be familiar with anatomy, physiology, oncology and/or medical
terminology.
o Must be able to work with minimal supervision and be detail oriented.
Monday to Friday
9AM to 5PM
